Iron Man 3 Styleframes
For this sequence, I developed styleframes exploring the visual effects of the Extremis virus on the Iron Man armor. The direction focused on portraying the suit in a state of partial disengagement, as if its internal structure was being interrupted, exposed, and pulled apart from within. Rather than showing destruction as a purely physical event, the frames approach the armor as a living technical anatomy, revealing wireframes, fragmented surfaces, energy traces, and skeletal mechanical layers. The visual language sits between medical scan, engineering schematic, and corrupted projection, suggesting that the virus is not simply damaging the suit, but interfering with the relationship between body, machine, and control. The result is a fractured image of power, where the armor becomes vulnerable, unstable, and momentarily suspended between function and collapse.
