Michael Angel / New York Fashion Week Brand Film
For New York-based fashion designer Michael Angel, I designed and directed a brand film created for his New York Fashion Week presentation, where the video became part of the live environment surrounding the models and collection. The direction focused on translating the intricate textures, patterns, and surface language of his garments into motion, creating a visual system that could move with the rhythm of the show rather than simply document it. Abstract mirrored forms, layered fabric-like simulations, and graphic compositions were developed to echo the energy of the collection, extending the garments into a larger spatial and cinematic language. The piece functioned as both a fashion film and an atmospheric stage element, allowing the visuals, models, and clothing to exist together as one designed experience.
